Happy Birthday Lucy

Lucy is 10 years old today. She spent the day enjoying extra treats and a lot of ball chasing. She also got a couple of new toys: a big rawhide and a plush stuffed squirrel.

Here's one of her baby pictures:

New Phone

The old cordless phone got too annoying to deal with so I figured it was time to upgrade. Either the battery or charger was acting up, so that it would hold just enough charge to answer a call, then hang up. This actually worked pretty well on telemarketing calls, "Hello Mr. Deegan I'm happy to inform you that you have won...(CLICK)", but not so well with others. Even after explaining the phone situation I suspect that Grandma and Grandpa Mikrut think we have some kind of grudge against them.

Anyway, we've moved into 21st century phone technology now. GE claims it's the world's thinnest home handset (just .54 inch thick). DECT 6.0. 1.92GHz. Digital security.
